Vocus (VOCS), a provider of PR management software, this afternoon posted Q1 revenue of $22.3 million, with non-GAAP profits of 15 cents a share; the Street had been expecting $22 million and 15 cents.
For Q2, the company sees revenue of $23.5 million to $23.7 million and non-GAAP profits of 13-14 cents; the Street has been forecasting $22.6 million and 15 cents. For the full year, Vocus sees revenue of $94.5 million to $96 million, and profits of 60-62 cents, ahead of the Street at $91.2 million and 59 cents.
The company also announced a pair of acquisitions.
Vocus is acquiring Datapresse, “a leading provider of media content and on-demand PR software” based in France, for $10.8 million, including $9.8 million in cash to be paid at closing and up to another $1 million based on performance.
And the company is acquiring BDL Media, “a provider of on-demand public relations software and services in China.” Terms of that deal were not disclosed.
Speaking of disclosure, seems kind of weird that none of these announcements are showing up on Yahoo Finance, dontcha think?
VOCS in late trading is unchanged at $18.36.
