SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) � Shares of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. climbed Monday evening after the movie and television studio said it swung to a profit for its fiscal third quarter with the help of the first installment of its �Twilight� franchise.

The company reported an adjusted profit of 37 cents a share for the quarter ended Dec. 31, on revenue of $743.6 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of 17 cents a share and revenue of $720 million. See: Lions Gate swings to profit, helped by �Twilight�.
Shares of Rexnord Corp. RXN �were also active Monday evening, trading 14% higher after a close at $20.21.
Late Monday, the ball-bearing manufacturer said that it initiated a review of strategic alternatives, including a possible sale of the company. It also reported adjusted third-quarter earnings of 19 cents a share, compared with the 20 cents-per-share forecast by analysts polled by Thomson Reuters.
